Food Journeys is our more personal project on food culture and storytelling, where we experiment with food photography, styling and creative writing. It has been, since it began, a place to share images, words and ideas on food and related experiences and it acknowledges our view on food as not just nourishment for the body, but also as a social and cultural phenomenon.
We, Mr. A and Mrs. S, are two Portuguese in love with our country and everything delicious and beautiful it has to offer. Lisbon is part of our DNA, since it’s our hometown, but we’re also very keen on travelling up and down the country (and westwards) to see new landscapes, meet new people and taste new flavours. We both delight in aesthetics and great simple food. If all of this happens to celebrate friendship around a table all the better!

Food Journeys é o nosso projeto mais pessoal dedicado à relação da comida com a cultura e o storytelling, onde através da fotografia, do food styling e da escrita criativa testamos a nossa criatividade. Desde o seu início que tem sido um lugar para partilhar imagens, palavras e ideias sobre estes temas e afirmar a nossa visão de que a comida não é apenas algo que alimenta o corpo, mas também um fenómeno social e cultural.
Nós, Mr. A e Mrs. S, somos dois portugueses enamorados pelo nosso país e por tudo o que de delicioso e de bonito ele tem para oferecer. Lisboa faz parte do nosso ADN, já que foi nela que nascemos e é nela que vivemos, mas somos grandemente curiosos acerca de todos os locais de Portugal: adoramos viajar de norte a sul do país (e para oeste também) para conhecer novas paisagens, outras pessoas e outros sabores. Deliciamo-nos com a beleza daquilo que nos rodeia e com a simplicidade da boa comida. Se tudo isto acontecer à roda de uma mesa enquanto se celebra a amizade, tanto melhor!

Mrs. S
I’m a chief design officer, engaged in space design, storytelling, photography and cooking. Experimentation is part of my creative process, especially when my imagination takes hold of the kitchen. It's there that I like to combine some ingredients in unusual ways and test new means of preparing food. I love to bake and eat artisan bread, which is something that reminds me how good the simple things in life can be.
